The tour dedicated to the World Premier of the 777 hypercar continues in the United Arab Emirates, with the car taking centre stage at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi and the Dubai Autodrome during international events organized from 13 to 16 December in collaboration with Curbstone Events in which institutions and VIP guests took part.
The event between Abu Dhabi and Dubai was a dynamic world preview presentation of the project by entrepreneur Andrea Levy, the 777 hypercar for exclusive track use engineered and built by Dallara, powered by Gibson and produced in 7 units at a price of 7 million euros.
The chassis of the 777 hypercar is an FIA-homologated carbon monocoque, with sophisticated aerodynamics developed by Dallara generating 2,100 kg of downforce at a speed of 370 km/h, a weight limited to just 900 kg and a lateral acceleration of up to 4 g.
The engine is a naturally aspirated V8, 4,500 cc in displacement, developing 800 hp with "push to pass" at 9,000 rpm, and is powered by synthetic fuel, which guarantees a 65% reduction in CO² emissions, or by e-fuel.
777 hypercar derives from endurance prototypes but will not participate in the main hypercar category championships (IMSA/WEC) and this has enabled us to design the car without the rules and constraints of the same championships; this guarantees extraordinary performance in every circuit, with an estimated lap time at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza of 1 minute and 33 seconds, more than two seconds faster than the last pole position achieved at the WEC 6 Hours of Monza.
The Yas Marina circuit in Abu Dhabi and the Dubai Autodrome were also the locations where the 777 hypercar team unveiled the futuristic technologies developed together with the Polytechnic of Milan, Onevo Group and Red Travel and which have attracted massive interest: 777 A.I. Racing Virtual Coaching and total autonomous driving technology, applied to the 777 hypercar, both subject to an industrial patent.
The 777 A.I. Racing Virtual Coaching is an innovative and patented system that allows the driver to increase performance thanks to a processor managed by artificial intelligence, which provides real-time data on the main dynamic performance parameters of the car compared with a preset target time; as a result, this provides the driver with scientific and objective data useful for reducing the gap much more quickly compared to professional drivers. Telemetry will be customizable depending on performance level and will be viewable on the seven dedicated monitors, positioned on the main dashboard, behind the steering wheel.
The hypercar continues its tour in the United Arab Emirates with a display from 18 December to 4 January 2024 at the GPX Store of the Dubai Autodrome, before moving to the Dragon Racing International LLC, where it will be a major protagonist during the Dubai 24 Hours from 13 to 15 January 2024, and the Asian Le Mans 4 Hours on 3 and 4 February 2024.
