In recent days, a letter of intent was signed in Lisbon, paving the way for Novation Tech to acquire a majority stake in MPC DesignWorks, a Portuguese company specializing in Design & Development Engineering for the automotive sector. The transaction is expected to be formally completed by the first quarter of 2025.
For the Treviso-based company, which specializes in working with composite materials, this represents a significant step forward in the vertical integration of its production chain, with a substantial increase in specialized know-how.
MPC DesignWorks is an engineering design firm known for its expertise in advanced composites for the automotive industry. Founded in 2017 by Miguel Passanha, who will continue to play a key role in the company as managing director, MPC has a team of 15 professionals, including engineers specialized in composite materials, CAD design, structural analysis, and simulation.
